From one CHY to Another One

The CHY celebrations in both Pasadena and St. Shotts were outstanding. The committees in place in both communities worked tirelessly to give all visitors and communitymembers a wonderfulexperience . Music was a key part of both celebrations.

It didn’t matter who attended everyone was made to feel welcome. Events were kid friendly and many families found much to do. In Pasadena a magician kept children entertained and face painting was available. In St. Shotts some games were organized and tattoos were put on those who wanted one. A fireworks display was a climax to a day full of events. Outdoor concerts kept everyone groovin to the music. A bouncy castle kep children jumping and laughing.

Food and drink were available over the course of the celebrations in both places. Acommunity breakfast started off the week in Pasadena while a sponsored breakfast ended the festivities in St. Shotts.

Many souvenirs were taken away from both events. A great time was had by all! Congratulations to both communities for working together to make so many people happy and satisfied!

I'm a Newfoundlander with a love of reading, writing and travelling. I've travelled around our province and lived in four provinces of Canada. I love a good book and a good blog. My family means the world to me, and some day I hope to travel to many countries of the world with my husband and sons' families.
