As many of you know, I hate walking. Having said that, I have to admit that I have walked most of the camino de Santiago in northern Spain. I like a challenge and hills are a BIG challenge for me. With my arthritic knees some days are not pain free! But I like seeing the great outdoors and I most enjoy meeting people. So I’ve made a new personal goal…to walk the East Coast Trail over the next two years.
My friend Madonna has done most of the trail and enjoys it very much. She has done the coast to coast bike ride too. 72 days of climbing hills, riding in very busy traffic and no holiday travelling!
