Where In The World is The Albergue

After walking all morning in the downpours we were ready for a nap in the Albergue de Peregrinis de Sao Pedro de Rentes. When we arrived I was cold, damp and out of sorts. We were the first and hoped for a quiet night. No such luck! Before long the rooms were filled except for one bunk above Yvonne.

We met Angelica from Germany. She was getting a hotel for Barcelos so when we ate at a lovely cafe we booked a twin room for 40 euros. So no rushing tomorrow. And a nice hot shower!

The weather has been cold and rain for several days now. We look forward to a little heat. Be careful of what you wish for!

We washed out clothes and they are still wet.

We have 8 German pilgrims in our room. We are the only two Canadians.

We are soon on our way back to our albergue. Closes at 10p.m. Wouldnt want to be locked out.

Laugh for the day: we might have to sleep on the street if we dont get back in time and that might be an improvement!!
