In Deba After Hours of Struggling

A sweet but very independent lady rented her summer apartment in Zumaia to us for 12 euros each. Then she brought us to the start of the days walk.

We arrived at the Turismo office at 1:30 after what I would call my hardest day of walking ever. The signage was not good. There were untethered dogs and no one but us on the coastal route. We carried out heavy packs and slipped often in the mud. What a day!

The charge in the new alberigue for tonight is 5 euros   And we are coming to Bordatxo Restaurant for the pilgrims meal at 7pm.  There is wifi and that makes my day much better.  The meal is 10.50 euros, a special price for pilgrims.
