Aviles On The Busses April 27/15

Not a great day! Waited 2 hours in Llanes for a bus. Wifi was available but it wouldn’t work. Rained all the way to Gijon. At the last minute I decided to bus to Aviles as there was a large albergue there

Switched busses and got dropped off about a km from the albergue which was very dirty and had four male pilgrims already there. I spent most of the evening bargaining for a pension or hotel to no luck. I also tried sending a request on Couchsurfing. No luck there either. The hotels wanted 53,35,or 25 euros so I returned to the albergue only to find Nami, a Japanese girl aged 31. I massaged and did reflexology on her feet and we both went to the supermarket and a restaurant. It turned out not so bad, except I didn’t shower that day or sleep well.
