Born in Pasadena but enjoy travelling the world. Love to read and write. Last big trip was May 2014 when I walked Camino Portugues with my friend Yvonne. I walked Camino Frances alone in 2013. Plans are in the works to do Primitivo in 2015 and Via Francigena in 2016.

I would like to hear from you if you are enjoying reading my writing. I find so much that I like about Pasadena and I want to preserve memories from our town as much as is possible to do so. Send me facts as well that I can compile and you can return to often for that information.

I started out doing one or two pieces a day, but eventually I think that will be scaled back to one a week. I look forward to your comments. Please follow me on the blog by signing up. Share on Facebook and Twitter.

I have been doing writing about Pasadena, St. Shotts and my travels. Since retirement I have been involved with writing and collecting stories. I wrote a piece in Amarjit Singh’s latest book on legacies of grandparents. I helped put together a book of 48 stories about St. Shotts. In 2014 I did an ebook on http://www.smashwords.com about my camino frances called Strong Camino Woman. And Im currently completing an ebook about camino portugues.

I like the idea that you are documenting your area. I found you via Lori of the hippie heart.

    Hello Newfoundland Traveller,

In May of this year a walked the camino. I walked a few days with the girl Tuperna on your website. She gave me her emailadres but I lost it. Do you have her emailadres for me, so I can contact her.

By the way, I like your site and walking The Camino was an experience I never forget.

Just wanted to say thanks for your interaction on my blog and especially for the reblog of my ‘bridges’ post – this has proved to be very popular and I really enjoyed searching for the quotes. I am enjoying wandering around your blog. How did your camino Portuguese go?

    • It was rather confusing at first. Few arrows. We got lost four or five times before Porto. I had mosquito bites and vertigo (for 3 nights/mornings). Loved several quintas. Ponte da Lima was very beautiful. Had a lovely camino family. Im now doing an ebook and it will be on Smashwords in a month or two.
